April 10, 2015 in the Grand Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Maxim Vengerov has presented the Russian premiere of the first version of Sibelius' Violin Concerto, one of the most performed works in the world. Few people know that the game is always the second edition of this show, which the composer created in 1905. The first, written exactly 110 years ago, is more complex technically. She became known to the world only in 1991, when the heirs allowed Leonidas Kavakos Sibelius once to play a concert and make a record of it.
The second part of Maxim Vengerov will arise for the conductor's stand. Under his management team Russia Honored Academic Symphony Orchestra will perform Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique.
